Dracamar
A 3D adventure project co-produced with 3Cat aimed at promoting culture and expanding local identity into international markets.
For this project, I was involved from the initial concept and submission of the proposal for the public competition through to the game’s release and final updates.
My contribution to the project as a Lead Game Designer:
- Level design for over 15 levels, 6 bosses, and 5 bonus levels.
- Scenario design based on real-world locations in Catalonia.
- Narrative and character design, including assistance in creating a non-binary character.
- Game economy, character progression, and resource acquisition.
- Design and proposal of 6 different bosses, including their attacks and combat styles, with distinct personality and gameplay feel.
- Movement and combat mechanics for the three playable characters.
- Game structure and progression, featuring different paths and options for players.
- Overseeing and collaborating with the layout team to design stages that would be functional for more demanding consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch.
